Roland DJ-808 wurde so eben vorgestellt, er vereint einige Element und Geräte der berühmten Roland Drum Maschinen, die Serato DJ Hardware, 4-Kanal Mischpult, sowie das Stimmen Effekt Gerät von Roland. Die Serato DJ Lizenz ist dabei, das DVS Plugin kann bei Serato noch zusätzlich gekauft werden. Ja, das ist seit langem eine neue Hardware, die es in diesem Konstrukt wirklich noch nie gab. Eigentlich kann man den Rolan DJ-808 auch nicht einfach als Controller einstufen oder abstempeln. Daher dient er nicht nur als DJ-Hardware, sondern auch als Produktions Tool. Wie im Video zu sehen, kann man weitere Roland Geräte per USB anschließen.
